Hey there. It’s Saul again, here at Saul’s Automotive in Denver. We know you hear us talk about a lot of luxury, exotic, custom and all kinds of crazy vehicles. Don’t forget we also service the regular mom-and-pop, plain Jane daily drivers, cuz that’s what 95 percent of us drive to work every day, myself included.
As far as what we’re gonna be looking over my shoulders today, we’ve got a 1997 Ford Escort.
When this vehicle came out 19 years ago, it was a pretty basic design. Econobox was the actual name of it so they could make it as cheap, efficient and lightweight as possible, with the goal being longevity and service. Well, it’s made it 19 years, and the reason it’s here today is pretty basic. It needs an oil change, basic tune-ups, spark plugs, wires and a couple of minor sensors to keep it chugging it along. Now, this isn’t anything fancy. It’s not anything out of the ordinary, and the parts for it are something that we stock every day.
We see so many Ford Motorcraft motor vehicles here at Saul’s Automotive that we have a relationship with our local Ford stores to ensure that we can get parts same-day, often delivered UPS immediate service. We’ve had times where we will locate parts at 6, 7, 8 in the morning, and by 10 a.m., they are here from across the country, going onto your motor vehicle. That’s something that no other local auto repair shop can offer you.
Unless you’re going straight to the dealership, you will literally be told, “It may take two days, three days to order this part, wherever it’s coming from.” Because of the volume that we’re able to do here, we’re able to nip that in the bud and help keep you on the road faster. Part of being open seven days a week, 365 days a year, is about you. It’s all about you. It’s about keeping you on the road, so if you have any complaints or concerns with your motor vehicle, remember we’re here every single day.
We have access to these parts round the clock. We can literally get dealership access from 5 a.m. to midnight on these motor vehicles. If you’ve got yours, and you need your regular basic maintenance services, come and see us. At the same time, if you’re seeing some of the Ford commonality failures — Tritons, three valves, 54s, 46s, 68s, transmission failures, front differential failures that we see commonly with these vehicles — remember that at Saul’s Automotive, we give you every option to repair.
Rather than saying, “Here’s the brand new part. Here’s what it costs, and that’s your only option,” we see these commonly. We know what to anticipate, and we know how to best help you without breaking the bank. We’re happy to provide options including used, rebuilt and new componentry for these major component failures because we see them so often.
